The 18th hole at Harbour Town, last week's Kodak Challenge hole at the Verizon Heritage, proved to be quite a challenge for the Players.
There were 9 players tied for the lead going in to the Verizon Heritage, but only two players managed to birdie the hole and increase their lead. Steve Lowery and Chris DiMarco both birdied the 11th Kodak Challenge hole and now share the top spot at 6-under-par. Two-time defending champion Boo Weekley was unable to make history by winning for the third consecutive year, but he did birdie the Kodak Challenge hole and is now tied for second at 5-under-par.
This week we also sent our photographer out with a
Kodak Z980 Digital Camera, with a 24x zoom! He captured these great shots of the iconic lighthouse at the 18th hole.

He also took this great photo of the 18th hole from the blimp.

There are many more great photos from the Verizon Heritage available on

THIS WEEK THE KODAK CHALLENGE HEADS TO THE BIG EASY
This week the Kodak Challenge hole at
Zurich Classic of New Orleans is the Par 3, 17th hole. The green on this hole has been reshaped and the word on the street (Bourbon Street?) is that par will be a good score on this hole. Catch the action on TV from 3-6pm on The Golf Channel on Thursday and Friday and on CBS Saturday and Sunday. Look for leaderboard updates and tournament photos on
PGATOUR.com.
While all you avid golfers already know about Tiger's amazing win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Golf Course and Lodge in Orlando, my blog is about Kodak's involvement as a
Marketing and Imaging Partner with the PGA TOUR.
Kodak, with the tremendous help of our marketing partners Octagon, was able to create a "Photo Zone" on the 18th hole, which is one of the
Kodak Challenge Holes. Fans could have a free photo taken as a memento of the day, see some of Kodak's awesome
products, and learn about the Kodak Challenge.

Behind the scenes of the Kodak Photo Zone
Throughout the four day event, we captured hundreds of photos using greenscreen technology to put the fans right on the 18th green! Using our
All-in-One printers, we gave people a keepsake of the day. People were thrilled to get a beautiful lab-quality print in about 30 seconds, which is outstanding for a consumer printer, wouldn't you agree?
A few of the more memorable shots are below.
Here's a family who wanted a memento of where they'd been on vacation

Some real Tiger fans!

A marriage proposal... seriously!
The roar in the photo zone tent as these two got engaged was nearly as loud as the roar of Tiger's fans as they watched him take the win. Did you notice an earlier photo that showed how the green screen worked?
But my own Kodak moment was when Douglas Carlson, after seeing our ESP All-in-One printers in action, wanted one so much, he ran out and bought one. The very next day he came back to the tournament with 8x10 photos of his family just to thank me for the demo, which convinced him the
ESP9 was the printer for him. That's what makes it all worthwhile.

Kodak will be doing more Photo Zones at upcoming tournaments, including the
Valero Texas Open and the
Crown Plaza Invitational at Colonial next month. If you are attending either tournament, check out the action on the Kodak Challenge hole, then be sure to stop by the Photo Zone, say hi, and get your photo taken!
THIS WEEK IN THE KODAK CHALLENGE by Tina ClarkThe Kodak Challenge leaderboard is heating up. Going in to this week's hole, we have nine players tied for the lead, with one of them, Chad Campbell, almost taking home the Master's Title!
This week, we head to Hilton Head, South Carolina for the Verizon Heritage. The Kodak Challenge hole is the
18th at Harbour Town Golf Links, as
Advisory Board Member Lance Barrow says, "one of the most recognizable sights in golf."
Even those who are not huge fans of the game may recognize the lighthouse, the water, and the marina at Harbour Town. The wide fairway is easy to hit, but the tiny green makes this Par 4 a challenging finishing hole. There are sure to be some changes on the Kodak Challenge leaderboard, so be sure to follow the action.
