Kodak and Woke Up Dead

Jenny Cisney
Chief Blogger, kodak.com

Today is the first day of the new webisode series, Woke Up Dead, and Kodak plays a big part in it. (A webisode is like a movie but with installments that are featured online instead of tv or theatres. )

In this series, twenty-something Drex wakes up and suspects he may be the walking dead. A zombie basically. The part of Drex is played by Jon Heder who you may recognize from Napoleon Dynamite.  Kodak shows up when Drex's roommate begins documenting the strange happenings with his Kodak pocket video camera! You can see the Kodak Zi6 in the scene above.

Later you will see the Kodak Zi8 in some scenes. Maybe you need image stablization when filming zombies?

I am predicting that zombies are the new vampires and Woke Up Dead is going to be a big hit! You can start watching the webisodes on the Woke Up Dead page on Crackle. You will find new installments weekdays from October 5th to the 30th. You can also follow Drex and Matt on Twitter. Just in time for Halloween!

Comment: Dave - yes we have seen the comments on Facebook - this is something very different than what we usually do, but that is why we are trying it... pushing the envelope a little. Thanks for your feedback.

Comment: I thought it was pretty weak. I also thought my 80 yr old mother was going to have a heart attack. It should have a "mature" rating somewhere. The comments on FB are much stronger, is anyone looking at them?
