  1. What happened to the blog post about the Kodak woman who rappeled down the side of a glass building? Or the photo project with the Cleveland botanical gardens? It looks as if Kodak has purged many of the stories that gave this blog a distinctive presence. Bad move!

    • Ralph – Actually there was a problem with the server the blog was hosted on and we temporarily lost those blog posts. We are working on trying to get them back and are quite upset about losing them.

      • How aprapos that digital let you down. Had those articles been printed on, say paper, they wouldn’t be lost.

  5. Hi, I had heard some time ago that Kodak was no longer in business and when I tried to send some photos via e-mail recently it did not work as before. I have always had Easy Share and was pleased with it. I still have lots of photos downloaded, and it seems that I will now have to find another photo software package? Can anyone advise me please.

  6. What exactly is Alaris? And what became of the Kodak printers? I had to replace mine with another brand’s printer, which uses more ink cartridges.

  7. Hi,

I came accross your blog via a photographer I’ve been keenly following, micmojo.

I was wondering if you’ll be keen to feature some of my works. I’m a wedding photographer based in sunny Singapore and I shoot almost exclusively on film. I’m most notable for my black and white works shot almost entirely Kodak TRI-X which has been a staple film for me ever since I held a camera.

Some of my film works have been published in various publications:
    Lomography – http://www.lomography.com/magazine/lifestyle/2013/01/17/the-lomography-questionnaire-with-brian-ho
    ROMP – http://thegaleriadotcom.wordpress.com/2013/03/07/q-a-session-with-romp-magazine/

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Cheers,
    Brian

  8. Hey Jennifer,

There’s a great documentary called “Alive Inside” about music’s power to help those whose memory and lives have been diminished by Alzheimer’s disease. The film really hits home and highlights the memories we all collect with print photos. Check out the trailer online.

  12. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this
website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance.
I must say that you’ve done a amazing job with this. In addition, the blog
loads super quick for me on Safari. Excellent Blog!
